Scope of Practice

& Client Fit

At Savvy Intuition, LLC, we believe therapy is most effective when both the therapist and client are aligned in goals, expectations, and commitment. Our goal is to cultivate happier and healthier relationships by working with individuals, couples, and families ready to do the work. Below is a clear outline of who we work best with, what we specialize in, and who may be better served elsewhere.

Our Services

We provide support through the following formats:

  • Individual Therapy

  • Couples & Premarital Counseling

  • Family Therapy

  • Intensives (3-hour, 6-hour, and 12-hour options)

Who Thrives With Us

We work best with clients who:

  • Are motivated for therapy and open to feedback

  • Want to build emotional awareness and relational skills

  • Are willing to commit to the process (weekly or biweekly as clinically indicated)

  • Are navigating anxiety, relationship concerns, grief, life transitions, or past trauma

  • Value structured, goal-focused sessions rooted in mutual collaboration

When We May Not Be a Fit

We may not be the best match if:

  • You’re looking to resolve all concerns in just one session

  • You have no intention of engaging consistently (sporadic or monthly-only sessions for new or high-need clients may not be sustainable)

  • You're currently experiencing active abuse, active addiction, or suicidality (referrals will be made to crisis-specific support)

  • You are mandated to attend therapy for legal purposes (forensic services are not provided)

  • You struggle with narcissistic, avoidant, or antisocial personality traits that interfere with rapport-building

  • You are resistant to self-reflection or frequently oppositional to the therapeutic process

Trauma Support Philosophy

We offer trauma-informed care for clients who are ready and willing to explore past emotional wounds. Our approach supports reflection, self-awareness, and emotional healing in a structured, supportive environment.

We are most helpful to clients who:

  • Are no longer in traumatic environments

  • Are beyond the precontemplation stage of change

  • Are open to exploring core beliefs and emotional patterns

We do not provide crisis support or work with those currently experiencing:

  • Active abuse dynamics or ongoing safety concerns

  • Active addiction or suicidality

  • Significant resistance to self-reflection or motivation

If you're unsure whether this is the right setting for your needs, we offer brief consults to help determine fit.

Setting Realistic Expectations

Healing is a process. We don’t offer quick fixes. Real change takes time, consistency, and effort. Clients expecting instant results without doing the work will likely feel frustrated here—and may be better served in a setting that aligns with that expectation.

Referral Policy

If we determine during consultation or treatment that another provider is a better fit based on needs, scheduling, or scope, a referral will be offered. This is done respectfully and collaboratively, with the client's best interests in mind.
