Chey-Anne is a Dayton native who attended Wright State University where she obtained her bachelor's degree in Psychology. Her Master of Science in Marriage & Family Counseling/Therapy is from Capella University.  She has always valued family and integrity. She is passionate about early intervention, education, advocating for the unheard, helping and empowering others to help themselves and enjoys seeing people reach their goals.

 

Chey-Anne is a competent, multicultural therapist, and has experienced working with all age groups and socioeconomic backgrounds. She began her career as a Family Support Specialist in 2012, and after beginning her Master’s program, she then moved onto becoming a Qualified Mental Health Specialist in 2016. Within the mental health field, Chey-Anne has experience as an Intensive In-Home Counselor, School-based Therapist, Qualified Mental Health Specialist Supervisor, and a Marriage & Family Therapist providing mental health therapy and marriage & family therapy.

 

Chey-Anne's current client focus is with teens, adults, couples, and families. Using a collaborative, holistic, emotion-centered, & person-centered approach, she helps couples, families, and individuals experiencing relationship issues, family conflicts, anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Her years of experience speak to her values and over the course of these years, she has successfully helped many clients alleviate symptoms, enrich their quality of life, improve relationships, heal from trauma, manage depression and anxiety with her expertise. While on their healing journey, clients gain an increase in emotional wellness, self awareness, self expression, & self worth.

She enjoys reading, good food, tv/music/movies, hip-hop cardio, yoga, spending quality time with family, friends, and her furbaby.

Pre-Marital Counseling

NEW Relationship Program that prepares unmarried couples for marriage and is known for enriching marriages for years. This program focuses on identifying and addressing potential areas of conflict in relationships before those issues become serious concerns. Couples learn effective strategies and more.

Reconciliation Therapy for Couples & Families 

Bonds are re-established, conflict is decreased, communication becomes more effective, individuals feel heard, decisions are made, relationships are built on stronger foundations, and are healed.

Individual Therapy

Individuals ages 17 and up receive personalized therapy that can include learning how to heal, learning and implementing coping skills, and how to resolve symptoms of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, grief, and relationship trauma.
