Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship stress, or major life transitions?

Mental health therapy provides a structured and supportive space to work through life’s challenges, better understand your emotions, and create meaningful change.

At Savvy Intuition, LLC, I provide therapy for clients ages 16 and older who are seeking support with emotional wellness, coping, self-awareness, and concerns that impact daily life and relationships.

Therapy may focus on strengthening coping skills, improving emotional regulation, processing difficult experiences, and developing healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

Are You Ready for Mental Health Therapy?

You may benefit from therapy if:

  • You have been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally drained for an extended period of time.

  • You have tried to work through challenges on your own but continue to feel unsure or unsupported.

  • Your daily life, relationships, work, school, or responsibilities are being affected by what you are experiencing.

  • You need support understanding and managing your thoughts, emotions, or reactions.

  • You are ready to invest time and effort into your emotional health and personal growth.

If you answered yes to one or more of these, individual therapy may be a helpful next step.

Ways to Work Together

MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY

Mental health therapy is designed to support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, emotional distress, relationship stress, and other concerns that impact functioning and well-being.

Sessions provide a structured space to explore thoughts, emotions, behaviors, coping patterns, and relational experiences while developing insight and more effective ways of responding.

The goal is to support meaningful, lasting change by building on your strengths, increasing emotional awareness, and helping you move toward greater stability and clarity.

MENTAL HELATH THERAPY W/ SUPPORTIVE CONJOINT SESSIONS

At times, mental health therapy may include supportive conjoint sessions when clinically appropriate.

A partner, spouse, parent, or other supportive person may be invited into a session to better understand your experiences, support your treatment goals, and strengthen communication around your mental health needs.

These sessions are not the same as couples therapy or family therapy. The focus remains on your mental health treatment, symptoms, functioning, and personal goals.

MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY W/ FAMILY PARTICIPATION

Family members may also be included when relational dynamics directly impact mental health, coping, or daily functioning.

These sessions may focus on improving communication, increasing support, addressing stressors, and helping family members better understand how to support your growth.

When family members participate in mental health therapy, the purpose is to support the identified client’s treatment goals. If the primary focus becomes the couple relationship or family system as a whole, couples therapy or family therapy may be recommended instead.

USING INSURANCE FOR MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY

Insurance may be used when therapy is focused on a client’s mental health symptoms, diagnosis, functioning, and treatment goals.

Relationship concerns can be part of mental health therapy when they are clinically relevant to your emotional well-being and daily functioning. For example, relationship stress may contribute to anxiety, depression, grief, trauma responses, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty coping.

I support insurance-based mental health therapy. I also believe services should be billed accurately. When the service is primarily relationship-focused or extended-format, private pay allows the work to be provided clearly and ethically without misrepresenting it as standard outpatient mental health treatment.

Couples therapy and family therapy are different because the relationship or family system is the primary focus of care. These services are private pay at Savvy Intuition, LLC.

Next Steps

Mental health therapy begins with an initial assessment to better understand your concerns, clarify goals, and determine the best path forward.

If you are unsure whether mental health therapy, couples therapy, or family therapy is the best fit, this can be discussed during the consultation process.
